Kensington Bound
Published in Cake Magazine
Photographed by Sardar Farrokhi, Kensington Bound captures the restless rhythm, colour, and personality of Toronto’s Kensington Market through a cinematic fashion lens. Blending documentary spontaneity with editorial styling, the series moves through neon storefronts, late-night streets, laundromats, diners, and urban corners — transforming everyday city moments into vibrant visual narratives.
Inspired by youth culture, analogue nostalgia, and the layered textures of downtown Toronto, the editorial explores individuality through movement, light, and atmosphere. Each frame balances raw street energy with carefully composed fashion portraiture, creating a body of work that feels both intimate and alive.
Through saturated colours, candid gestures, and cinematic compositions, Kensington Bound reflects a city in motion — where fashion becomes part of the landscape and the streets themselves become the stage.
